Elevating Spotify's Interactive Experiences

About the case

We partnered with Spotify and Active Theory to craft and implement the music and sound design for three of their interactive experiences: Playlist in a Bottle, Song Psychic, and Your K-Pop Persona. A big part of the challenge was to create music and sounds that connected with their intended Gen Z audience and enhancing the overall journey for millions of users in 27 markets and 18 languages.

Throughout the process we worked closely with Spotify’s creative and technical teams to ensure a holistic and seamless experience, from sound creation to implementation on the Spotify platform.

Your K-Pop Persona

This immersive feature lets users discover their fan role in a K-Pop group. An exciting interactive experience that lets K-Pop fans worldwide connect with their K-Pop heroes. With participation from K-Pop icons like Cha Eun-Woo, SEVENTEEN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

Song Psychic

A playful and mystical experience that helps users discover the perfect song to answer their life’s biggest (or smallest) questions. Whether it's about love, career, or lunch choices, Song Psychic provides cosmic guidance through music.

Playlist in a Bottle

This in-app feature invites users to capture their current musical identity by answering song-inspired prompts. Users select a virtual "time capsule" to seal their playlist, which will be sent back to them in January 2024, offering a nostalgic look at their 2023 musical self.
